We are looking for a dynamic and diligent Content Curator to improve the quantity and quality of resources on the Odin Learning system. A strong understanding of high school-level curricula and a knack for finding relevant, high quality content are essential for this role.

Basic Requirements:

  • Formal Tertiary education:
    • Grade 12
    • Education related degree/diploma advantageous
  • Experience: Education, Academic, Content/resource related
  • Languages: English

Job Objectives:

  • Ensuring the academic content on our platform is of the highest quality and relevance
  • Sourcing, organizing, and maintaining multi-format content
  • Ensuring all courses and topics are populated with sufficient resources to meet the learning objectives.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Content Sourcing and Curation:
    • Identify and source high-quality academic content in various formats, including videos, articles, infographics, quizzes, and interactive tools
    • Evaluate and select materials that align with the platform’s course objectives and academic standards
  • Content Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to Odin Education’s quality standards
    • Conduct regular reviews of existing content to maintain relevance and effectiveness
  • Course Structuring and Formatting:
    • Populate course structures with sourced content in a logical and engaging sequence
    • Input and format clear and concise learning objectives for each section to guide learners and content creators effectively
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and the operations team to align content with learning goals
    • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of content into the platform
  • Innovation and Engagement:
    • Stay updated on emerging educational trends, tools, and content formats
    • Propose innovative ways to enhance content engagement and learning outcomes.
