Basic Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
    Qualified Artisan
  • Project Management degree
  • Computer Literate (MS Office)
  • Good communication
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience in the Automotive sector
  • Driver’s License Code 08 required
  • Languages:
    • English (speak, read, write)
    • Afrikaans (speak, read, write)
    • German (Advantageous)

Job Objectives:

  • To work within the Management team, as a C&I Manager.
  • To successfully understand and manage the scope of supply. Co-ordinate the process of operations from when the orders are received from customers, to obtaining full project sign-off and payment by the customer for such orders.
  • Managing risks, ensuring project milestones are met, while maintaining a good customer relationship.
  • Additional Requirements & Experience:
  • Mech. Eng. / Electrical Eng. / Controls Eng / Project Management
  • 10 years’ experience in the automation industry
  • Comprehensive mechanical / electrical background
  • At least 5 years’ experience in supervisory capacity
  • At least 5 years’ experience in site establishment and Resource Management

Job Requirements:

  • Establish a full understanding of the scope of supply following the Project Handover
  • To successfully manage & co-ordinate the resource allocation required to execute the scope of supply
  • To implement strategic processes & department structures to assist with the successful execution of the Project Commissioning and Installation phases
  • Liaise with project management team to consolidate & finalise project timing & delivery milestones
  • Establish detailed Project plans, accommodating the electrical, mechanical & IT departments, ensuring successful commissioning & installation of a project
  • To successfully manage and co-ordinate the process of operations within the project environment, considering the delivery milestones and adhering to JMK In-house sign-offs criteria
  • Continuously monitoring department KPIs, while maintaining Department wellness, Staff safety both on site and in-house
  • Support the Jendamark quality management system
  • General management of the company policies.
